As we approach the end of the year, we tend to reflect on what this year was and what next year will be.
A particular area resonated in my mind. Relationships. Over the years we drift from some people and meet many. As I scrolled through the many Facebook friends I have on my page, I thought, "how many of these people do I really take the time to know?" The answer was, very few. For someone who prides themselves in having good relationships with people, I realized as some of my relationships change or no longer exist, I was doing nothing to add more relationships into my life.
That's when I committed to One A Week. Reaching out to at least one someone I don't know as well as I'd like or someone I've drifted from each week. This could be a phone call, coffee date, or a Facebook conversation. With technology, keeping in touch and communicating with people is easier than it's ever been. Why not take advantage?
So, I pose this question to you readers....who can you reach out to this week? Can you make a list of your One A Week?
Extra Food For Thought: You can use the One A Week concept for any area of your life. One work out a week, One article to read a week, One new adventure to go on. The opportunities are endless!
Very wise young lady. Every relationship takes time for it to grow and/or transform (this includes it dying) once a week is now in my vocabulary.
